something we should do

Ok so I know we're going into pre production but I found this thing on the net which I think we should consider doing. Panasonic is running acompetition to do a scene from a film. Ithink this would be cool to enter and we as film students should, I know the timing is bad but between us we can knock it on the head.

I was thinking scenes we could do are
tree rape - Evil Dead
Mr Pink and Mr White fighting
Blonde cutting off ear
Pulp fiction rape scene
a scene from Nosfarato
Brave heart speech
scent of a women speech (cutting into real action)
Scarface chainsaw scene, end scene
Forest Gump
Titanic bow of boat
Scene from god father 3 "never letanyone know what you're thinking"

2 days, to shoot and edit done on the weekend, assigned roles. Watch the scene and each dept takes care of there shit.
(Nosfarartoo is great because there is no sound, one actor, black and white, old, classic, and if emulated properly fucking awesome)

I am going to talk about the phrase "come on". May times we can utter this but this is when I feel it the most.
When you think the worse can happen and it does "come on".
When someone presents you with the absured, "come on."

When either of these thigs happen you're tone is all important. For the former a long drawen out . I really like you but I fell for you're brother "coommme onn"

When presented with the absurd short and sharp and repeat what you have just encounted
7 oreders up and you're suggesting menu changes? "come on"!

its simple it feels good and really, the bald guy sitting at home is telling you how to say two word say it, SAY IT
Come on.

TVNZ is keen that I confirm numbers for this show on Sunday 17 September.   Would you please email me back to confirm that you are still (or now) able to attend.  You may bring a friend or partner or several.
 
They are also endeavouring to book shuttle transport, which is likely to start & end at the Film School (N.B. finishing quite late at night).  However, they'll cough up with a $20 petrol voucher for anyone who will take and return 4 people to/from Avalon on the day.
 
Get back to me by the end of the week if you would.
